Taj I by Fragrance World

Taj I by Fragrance World is an oriental eau de parfum for women and men from the Athoor Al Alam collection, released in 2024. Also sold as Taj 1.

It opens fresh and fruity — bergamot and citrus with pineapple and a snap of ginger, bright enough to read as a daytime scent for the first stretch. The heart is where it turns Arabian: saffron and rose over plum, wrapped in dry amber that gives it weight without heaviness.

The base holds it together with vetiver, sandalwood, musk and ambergris — clean and mineral rather than sweet. The overall effect is a fruity-amber built on a classic Gulf structure, which makes it more versatile than most orientals at this price.

Wears well from afternoon into evening, and the citrus opening keeps it manageable in Nairobi and Mombasa heat where heavy amber alone would be too much.
